Malaysia’s Futurist and TEDx Innovation Speaker
There are a lot of things happening with Malaysia’s tech and innovation ecosystem but the stories are not being told. That’s why I’m one of the advocates to share these stories to the world.
I guess I’m one of the lucky ones in Malaysia to be able to contribute to Malaysia’s innovation ecosystem. In 2014, I joined one of Malaysia’s most successful and globally known government agency called Malaysian Global Innovation and Creativity Centre or MaGIC.
I was hired to join the team due to my experience with startup and entrepreneurship when I was living in Beijing, China. One of MaGIC’s signature programs is the Global Accelerator Program (GAP) and I was part of the pioneering team which designed the program.
Currently I’m attached to a government linked company called Cyberview to spearhead the development of Cyberjaya as a Global Technology Hub. After acquiring extensive knowledge on building a startup ecosystem, I’m now responsible to pilot test new innovation in the city.
In both companies, I get to experience on how to deal with startups from different industries, running hackhatons, being a mentor, assist startups to go to market and expand within the region and also speaking at various events on innovation and future technologies. Recently, I had to opportunity to speak at a local TEDx event.
If you’re looking for a futurist, innovation or TEDx speaker — feel free to get in touch with me here or my LinkedIn profile. I trust and truly believe that I can bring impact to your events.
